Coronavirus Prevention for Virtual Reality

COVID-19

The following measures highlight our standard for hygiene as it pertains to the prevention of coronavirus transmission.  Coronaviruses include COVID-19, cold, and flu. They are based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). In addition, we also include any requirements from the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Furthermore, any chemicals used for disinfecting are confirmed with the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) List N: Disinfectants For Use Against SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19).

As guidance or conditions change, the following standard will adjust accordingly.

  • Do Not Come if Sick
    • Both team members and customers should not visit our facility if they feel ill for any reason
  • Mask or Face Covering Use

(when required by state or local public health authorities)

    • All Neverland Virtual Reality team members wear masks
    • All customers must also wear masks or face coverings
    • Hand Washing or Sanitizing
      • All team members and customers must wash their hands with soap or use hand sanitizer upon entering the facility
    • Door Handles and Other High-Touch Surfaces
      • These are disinfected every two hours or at least twice per day depending on activity and traffic
    • Headsets, Controllers, Steering Wheels
      • These are disinfected using alcohol pads after every use
        • Summer campers with a dedicated station for the day would have that station disinfected at the end of their visit with us
    • Floors
      • Floors are swept and mopped with bleach at least once per day
    • Walls and Seats
      • Walls (floor to 7 feet) and seats are misted with alcohol and wiped down after the established contact time determined by the EPA, at least once per day
    • Air Purification
      • In order to increase air quality and provide additional mitigation for COVID-19, we use a Medical Grade HEPA H13 air purifier that cycles through the air in our space every 45 minutes
